About the artist
THERESA OCTAVIA PFEIFFER
FIGURATION AS SILENT NARRATIVE
Theresa Octavia Pfeiffer is a contemporary figurative artist from Bavaria. Her work centers on the human figure—often female—capturing moments of stillness, introspection, and quiet psychological intensity. Many of her paintings unfold as modern allegories, where gesture, gaze, and atmosphere carry symbolic depth and fleeting experience feels momentarily suspended in time.
INNER WORLDS, MYTH, AND MEMORY
Pfeiffer’s practice explores transience, inner landscapes, and the subtle dialogue between body and mind. Drawing from mythology, history, religion, nature, astrology, and anthropology, her imagery reflects a deep curiosity for the layered and enigmatic nature of human experience.
EXHIBITIONS & ARTISTIC PATH
Since 2015, her large- and medium-format oil paintings have been shown nationally and internationally, including solo exhibitions in Vienna, Munich, and Augsburg. In 2021, her series Genius Loci was presented at the FC Bayern Museum in Munich as part of "Zwischen Atelier und Fußballplatz".
Pfeiffer studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, where she graduated in 2021.
